This reported on <a href="http://www.wptz.com/news/18416021/detail.html ">WPTZ&nbsp;news</a> in the Burlington area and in various sources online (search for &ldquo;Vermont emissions labels cars&rdquo; and you&rsquo;ll find all kinds of things).<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>I don&rsquo;t find any official statement on the new regulations from the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources (ANR).<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Statement (GGES) that apparently accompanied the new regulations can be found at the ANR <a href="http://www.anr.state.vt.us/air/docs/GREENHOUSE%20GAS%20IMPACT%20STATEMENT08.pdf">web site</a>.&nbsp; The statute mandating the regulation is <a href="http://www.leg.state.vt.us/statutes/fullsection.cfm?Title=10&amp;Chapter=023&amp;Section=00579">10 V.S.A &sect;579</a>, enacted by the Vermont Legislature in May 2007.</p>
